Yes. Discs are selected with materials of low ductile-brittle transition (Inconel®, Monel®, austenitics) and calibrated at the service temperature (-196 °C for liquid N2). Pressure tolerances increase (±10 %) and gaskets require compatible elastomers (PTFE). Flange contraction and the pressure increase from rapid evaporation (boil-off) must be considered.
