About this portal and contact
discoderuptura.com is a technical and educational portal in Spanish about rupture discs and overpressure protection. It is prepared and maintained by the technical team of P&V Control Devices, a Mexican company dedicated to pressure relief devices for industry.
Editorial policy
- The guides explain engineering principles and standards requirements (ASME, ISO 4126, API 520/521, NOM-020-STPS) for educational purposes; they do not replace the current edition of each standard or the calculation by the responsible engineer.
- The model datasheets describe how each design works and when it is suitable; final values (pressures, tolerances, areas, KR) are always taken from the manufacturer's documentation for the supplied batch.
- Each guide shows its update date. If you spot an error, write to us and we will review it.
